This game shows us a measurement of how rigid our mindset can be without us realizing it.
It took me 20 minutes and am still not able to figure out No.4. I almost faint when I checked the answer. :)
This was done in world record time of 7 second.

* 1/4 of squares A, B & C is shaded.
* 1/4 of squares A, B & C is shaded.
1. Divide unshaded portion of 'A' into TWO equal & identical parts.
2. Divide unshaded portion of 'B' into THREE equal & identical parts.
3. Divide unshaded portion of 'C' into FOUR equal & identical parts.
4. Divide 'D' into SEVEN equal & identical parts.

Believe it or not, but I have it done! Thanks for posting, I enjoyed it, especially 4th task which was the hardest, I even got a headache, and suddenly the solution came out from nowhere, lol.

I did the A,B & D in 30 seconds
I spent 25 minutes for C and then gave up swearing !!LOL
I had a very hard time with c also. This is truly a great mind exercise.
**I will come baack and play the dame, but for now, will you come back and tell me what you mean by: you wrap the egg in a towel and hit it up. (please?)

That's kind of funny. I got D pretty quickly. But, C was killing me. I didn't want to spend too much time on it so I gave up and checked the answer. It would have been a long time before I got that!
Oh haha I see what you mean now :) Yeah, I eventually got them all but only because you said that it was a lesson on mindset. That really helped because then I purposely tried to think outside of the box.
Oh and thanks for checking out my blog even though it's brand new.
This be a piece of cake. Me be surprised that an intelligent woman such as you are would have any trouble with this. Me even got two answers for "C" Although me second answer, while not having the exact sme shape did have the same area. On "D" Me lines ran in the oppodite direction and me were surprised that me didn't see both directions. Thanks for the fun.

Jay - many had a hard time with C, but I am weird, I only have problem with D. but D is so straight forward and easy, how come am not able to solve it?

We often use our complicated mind to solve a very simple problem. it doens't work.

lol I just wanted to keep making it too difficult.
It was C that stumped me. The others went fast. Maybe if I stopped all other activities for a week I would have figured C out.
But, Pink Ginger, I'm surprised that you made D so complicated. I'll bet if somebody said, "Slice this square cake into 7 equal pieces" you would have done it in 7 seconds because you wouldn't have complicated it.

A, B, and C were pretty easy: less than 20 seconds, but D got me stumped (i had to look at the answer for that one).
Also note, there is more than one answer to C (if you don't have a rigid mindset)! *smile*
